What You Will Be Doing:
- Ensure adequate staffing of the Data & Analytics function by regularly measuring capacity of the team vs. demand from internal/external customer
- Partner proactively with HR to drive effective recruiting of the staff
- Act as a coach and mentor to create a world-class Analytics function
- Maintain an agile organizational structure optimized to support the Data & Analytics internal & external customers. Ensure that the roles on the team are clearly defined and the expectation of the roles are clearly articulated
- Foster a team environment where the Data & Analytics can achieve their professional goals
- Prioritize the work of the Data & Analytics team with input from internal customers
- Drive a consultative scoping process focused on delivering high value efficiently
- Maintain a portfolio of the data science projects to ensure on time delivery and keep stakeholders aware of the status
- Implement a Quality Management process to ensure the accuracy of the output of the team & to reduce rework
- Represent the organization in client meetings to showcase their Analytics capabilities
- Understand and/or uncover relevant uses cases in the payer industry for organization’s Data & Analytics capabilities
- As appropriate, participate in the scoping and the delivery of Analytics requests for clients (such as ROI or Opportunity assessments)
- Identify opportunities for organization to deliver new analytics solutions to clients
- Identify opportunities to deliver internal analytics solutions across the delivery of our services (targeting, engagement, treatment, post-treatment)
- Maintain and deliver on the Analytics roadmap
- Work with Product & Technology as appropriate to “platformize” the relevant analytics solutions (e.g dashboards, etc.)
- Participate in strategy sessions to derive a long term Analytics roadmap
- Maintain & engage a board of outside advisors and contacts to inform organization’s Data & Analytics strategy
- Formulate organization’s Data & Analytics unique asset and the path to build the asset
What You Will Need To Have:
- 10+ Years of progressive excellence in large-scale engineering, statistical/predictive modeling, machine learning, team leadership, and analytic consulting
- Must be comfortable interfacing at the senior executive level
- Prior Healthcare Data Analytics experience a requirement
- Experience leading and building out world class B2B or B2C data products
- Master's or equivalent work experience in Statistics, Machine Learning, Measurement Science, NLP
- Collaborative, detail-oriented mind-set coupled with the ability to define and shape original research agendas is required, as evidenced by a strong track record of value creation with quantifiable economic value
- Experience with Data Science in AWS or other cloud computing platforms preferred
- Experience working with modern data-science/machine learning technologies
- Client facing experience
