Elevation Search Solutions is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer. Our client is a rapidly growing behavioral telehealth company delivering care primarily to seniors in rural geographies across 26 states. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will report to the Chief Information Officer. This is the top engineering role for our client and there is a strong potential for upward mobility.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Refactoring, designing & developing web UI, REST API, core business libraries, database code, unit testing, R&D.
- Responsible for analysis, build & deployment, and application product support.
- Implementing and actively participating in Scrum Ceremonies, architecture sessions, code & design reviews, and product demos.
- Collaborate closely with team on approaches, backlog grooming, prioritization, estimation, R&D, prototypes, client demos, and release planning.
- Retire legacy code and replace it with well designed, testable, scalable code and ensuring designs are compliant with specifications, standards, and best practices.
- Ensuring best customer service and application availability
- Collaborating with other technical leaders, leading technical solution design, owning code quality & technical documentation of application.
- Acting as role model and mentor to junior developers on technology, product, tools and best practices.
- Supporting and investigating new ideas and technologies for architectural review.
- Occasional travel (up to 20%) to east and west coast may be required
What You Will Need To Have:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and experience.
- 5+ years of experience building enterprise software, working across all layers of the application.

- Knowledge of agile development, system architecture, software engineering, Dev Ops, build and deployment, and continuous integration.
- Strong knowledge of Python, architecture patterns and best practices
- Working knowledge of PHP required for sunsetting legacy applications
- Strong knowledge of web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, React
- Hands on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows OS, web/app services
- Experience working in a cloud computing environment (Google Cloud preferred, but AWS and Azure acceptable)
- Familiarity with dev tools such as but not limited to Maven, Git, Jira, Eclipse, Bitbuckett
- Prior experience in a healthcare, HIPAA, or similar regulated environment desired
- Nice to have experience:
- EMR and Integration (HL7, FHIR, Direct Messaging, etc.) experience
- Data Analytics, statistical analysis, ML, AI in a cloud environment
- Knowledge of Secure SDLC and OWASP Top 10 principles
- Application performance tuning and metrics
