What You Will Be Doing:

• Effectively work in an Agile team environment developing solutions for core products and Software-as-a-Service platform
• Contribute to, strengthen, and evolve a leading-edge eBook platform and APIs that are used by millions of people across the globe
• Research, prototype, and design new functionality, as well as measure, deploy, and optimize performance across an application ecosystem
• Mentor less experiences software development professionals and consistently improve team process

What You Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or related year for year experience (4+ years)
• Six (6) years experience with Ruby on Rails or other modern web development languages

Added Bonus Experience:

• Large scale, highly available SaaS web applications and RESTful APIs
• Elasticsearch, REdis, MySQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Message Queuing, and other key platform technologies
• Building cloud enabled applications with Google Cloud or AWS, utilizing their latest technologies and tools
• Experience and a passion for open source development, continuous delivery models, and using best-of-breed tools
• Experience with Agile development environments and working with DevOps teams to create great software
