What You Will Be Doing:

• Working in a team environment developing solutions for core products and platforms
• Developing creative and innovative solutions for the next generation of educational learning
• Providing full application development life cycle support, including specifications, prototypes, development, documentation, quality assurance and deployment
• Communicating effectively with internal and external audiences that include both technical and non-technical backgrounds

What You Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR directly related year for year experience
• Six+ (6+) years experience developing in modern technologies/languages
• Four+ (4+) years experience in Front End development preferably with JavaScript, CSS, Backbone, Marionette, HTML5, Angular, React

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences:

• Experience with Scala
• Java development experience preferably with these technologies (Play Framework, Spring, MongoDB, Elastic Search)
• Hands on knowledge with DevOps technologies like AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, etc
• Experience with large-scale web applications
• Extensive with Agile/SCRUM development environments
