What You Will Be Doing:
- Managing schedules and project plans including a budget, timeline, schedule, roles, and responsibilities
- Leading team meetings and updates on project progress
- Managing budgets, cost tracking for projects and optimizing expenses then reporting out on results
- Scheduling and tracking progress in a software program to monitor the project's schedule
- Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks that could impact the project's desired outcomes
- Designating project resources and assigning duties to staff
- Keeping clients/stakeholders informed throughout the duration of the project
- Partnering with sales to be a non-technical customer facing resource to lead strategic sourcing efforts, handle quoting, and communicate with prospect/client
- Acting as the intermediary in purchase orders
- Handling phone calls, service management, and customer success duties post sale helping reduce the load on the engineer
- Identifying and tracking customer trends to make changes and improvements to the process
- Strategically coordinating with sales to resource plan and manage workloads to help them scale over time
- Participating in special projects and handling general administrative tasks as needed
What You Need to Have:
- 5-10 years of experience
- Preferred knowledge of the manufacturing industry and able to speak the technical and non-technical lingo preferred
- Experience working as an engineer in the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Clear communication skills
- Self-starter, solutions-oriented; ability to proactively identify issues and facilitate solutions
- Comprehend and anticipate client needs, including identifying and highlighting success metrics, establishing and maintaining expectations, and defining and implementing improvement strategies
- Ability to adapt and engage with new technology
