Position Summary:
The Program Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive development, coordination, and delivery of dynamic professional learning and development cohort-based programs. This role works cross collaboratively with the team to ensure both internal team and external stakeholders are aligned. They will also ensure programming is aligned with company goals/objectives and support professional development + continuous learning across all levels within member companies. This person will be visible within the community and a part of building and maintaining strong relationships with members, stakeholders and investors.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Maintaining a robust knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry ensuring alignment of educational/learning development offerings with market needs
- Ensuring programming offerings are consistent with messaging
- Providing operational support for the Fellows Advisory Board, Content Development committee, and ensuring cohort-based programming is aligned with overall strategic agenda
- Presenting cohort-based programming to companies and external stakeholders as needed
- Working with Senior Director and the finance team to ensure that programs meet budget requirements and revenue goals
- Managing cohort-based program inquiries/participation and tracking number towards year end goals
- Working with Education and Talent Development Team on recruiting cohort-based program candidates from current and new member companies
- Engaging cohort-based programs Alumni into Council events
- Serving as a general cohort-based programming point of contact for sharing ideas, general inquiries or voices of concern
- Disseminating updates to Council leadership on relevant information from members and candidates
- Building and maintaining relationships with members and stakeholders and serving as a liaison between committees/advisory board, stakeholders, and staff
- Communicating effectively with members, potential new members, guests and the public utilizing discretion and professionalism
- Working closely with the Member Engagement Team and Special Initiatives & Operations Team on programming
- Working closely with the communication/marketing team to ensure communications align with organizational messages and timing
- Updating program participants and candidates on activities and engagement opportunities
- Coordinating the quarterly Council Content Development Committee
- Helping coordinate the activities of Council Fellows, Roundtables, LHC Cohorts, and DC Delegation
- Recording contact activity with members through the membership database and utilizing it to enhance cohort-based program offerings and service
- Serving as an ambassador for the Nashville Health Care industry and supporting Education & Talent Development team in additional duties as assigned
What You Need to Have:
- 2+ years of experience in program or project management
- Experience and passion for the healthcare industry and innovation is preferred
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability and drive to clearly understand organizational priorities for week/quarter/year
- Ability to manage multiple projects and quarterly priorities simultaneously while moving daily tasks to completion in a timely manner
- Ability and drive to understand the operations of the organization and be a problem solver
- Be organized, detail-oriented and punctual, focusing on working ahead
- Take pride in work and in the organization
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Zoom, HubSpot and proficiency in digital and social media platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and to work as part of a team
