Through programs, events, and initiatives, our client has served as a catalyst for leadership and innovation across the healthcare domain for 25+ years.

Position Summary

The Program Manager oversees and facilitates team coordination of all aspects of the Leadership Health Care program, including board and committee management, membership recruitment and renewal, event and engagement opportunities. The Program Manager works to continuously align activities and programming to the Company’s strategic growth goals, ensuring that Leadership Health Care program participants develop a strong affinity for the Company and have a clear pathway to engage with the larger organization while providing personal career-level appropriate leadership development and education opportunities for program participants.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Building and maintaining strong connections within the company-wide corporate membership to ensure the continued visibility and growth of the Leadership Healthcare Program (LHC)
  • Working closely with the LHC Education Committee and the company’s Education & Content Committee to develop strong programming for LHC that aligns with the company’s overall education agenda
  • Coordinating speaker management for all LHC events, including oversight of script and question development and member communication for panels and other program elements
  • Working with VP of Member Engagement & Programming and the finance team, ensuring that LHC programs meet budget requirements and revenue goals for the company
  • Working closely with the communication/marketing team for all program communications
  • Leading and managing cohort mentoring program
  • Coordinating, managing, and responding to membership inquiries with clear messaging and support
  • Managing monthly membership renewal campaign and tracking insights towards year in goal
  • Working with the Membership Director on recruiting new LHC members from current and new member companies
  • Presenting LHC Roadshow to companies
  • Serving as an ambassador for Nashville’s Health Care industry
  • Driving financial performance of member acquisition, retention, and engagement for all LHC activities
  • Engaging with LHC current and past board members to encourage collaborative programming with a vision of growth and professional development
  • Contributing to the growth of the company wide corporate memberships, acting as an ambassador for the overall company’s mission
  • Maintaining strong connections with members and the broader healthcare community to ensure positive program messaging and strong endorsements of the program

What You Need To Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in program or project management
  • A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Active listening skills with the ability to execute on ideas
  • Team player with enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks through strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to professionally represent the organization and program at on-site events
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector or healthcare industry is a plus
  • Passion for proactively connecting people
  • Service-oriented spirit
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting, and training rooms; use of safe work practices with office equipment; avoidance of trips and falls and observance of fire regulations
  • The work environment will require walking, standing, bending, and carrying of items weighing 1-15 lbs
  • Some repetitive motion is involved
  • Must have the ability to drive to appointments outside the office
