What You Will Be Doing:

  • Serving as business owner of product modules and features including but not limited to strategic roadmap, functional features, and prioritization.
  • Preparing detail specifications from which programs/systems will be built.
  • Analyzing and revising existing systems according to business needs.
  • Devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems.
  • Analyzing product opportunities and competitive gap analysis.
  • Serving as voice of customer through product market fit, usability, and process improvement.
  • Leading initiative, planning, and management of product suite portfolio to meet customer needs and business strategy.
  • Collaborating with internal and external constituents, including customers, to meet common goals and resolve conflicting issues and priorities.
  • Leading, directing, and providing functional guidance across the product, sales, account management, and software engineering teams.
  • Defining interdependency with other disciplines and being involved in the testing and certification processes through production deployments and customer onboarding.
  • Planning, designing, and supporting the implementation of complex functional and technical applications and systems.
  • Facilitating analysis and formulating of processes or systems to parallel overall business strategy.
  • Supporting the maintenance of software applications and operational processes to support business workflows.
  • Supporting the sales and marketing processes such that product material enables:
    • A clear articulation of product differentiation and value proposition to prospects/customers by persona and use case.
    • Quantification of product value for prospects/customers by persona and business use case.
    • Explanation of how to capture quantification of business value and ROI across the product features.
  • Interpreting, refining, and applying methods and procedures in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Information Technology industry standards and best practices as defined by the company.
  • Remaining current with industry trends to conceive, prototype, and recommend functional approaches including user experience for digital solutions that meet business needs.

What You Need To Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the fuel industry or in a related area.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience within software product management.
  • Subject matter expertise in analysis and requirements gathering process, testing, tools, and best practices.
  • A sense of creativity with strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to contribute to the formulation, communication, and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across IT organization and with business partners.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.  May lead or direct the work of others.
  • Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes within specific area of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
