If so, Elevation is actively seeking a Member Engagement Manager for a leading corporate membership association in the healthcare industry! Through programs, events and initiatives, our client has served as a catalyst for leadership and innovation across the healthcare domain for 25+ years.

Position Summary:

This person will be prospecting and recruiting members as well as engaging the early to mid-level careerist in the Leadership Health Care program. They will clearly communicate the value of the organization and its programs to recruit and retain members while supporting the Member Engagement team engaging corporate members aligning their investment levels. This role works cross collaboratively to ensure both internal team and external stakeholders are aligned. This a highly visible role within the community and is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with members, stakeholders and investors.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Recruiting, building and maintaining a robust and qualified list of new member prospects (both in-bound and out-bound) ensuring budget and personal goals are reached and exceeded
  • Ensuring LHC positioning and programming is consistent with key overall organization messaging
  • Managing the LHC Board and 4 committees (Education, Member Engagement, Networking & Mentoring and Strategic Development) aligning LHC programming to the overall strategic agenda
  • Presenting Council Roadshow to companies as needed with Member Engagement Team
  • Working with VP of Member Engagement & Programming and the finance team to ensure the LHC program meets budget requirements and revenue goals
  • Managing monthly LHC membership renewal campaign and tracking number towards year end goal
  • Working with Member Engagement Team on recruiting new LHC members from current and new member companies
  • Engaging and onboarding new LHC members early with a focus on long-term partnerships and value of membership
  • Engaging LHC Board Alumni into events
  • Collaborating with Membership Director to visit member companies monthly for Cookies with the Council
  • Serving as a general membership point of contact for sharing ideas, general inquires or voices of concern and managing the info email account
  • Disseminating updates to leadership on relevant information from members and prospects
  • Building and maintaining relationships with members and investors
  • Being a “member connector,” effectively communicating with members, potential new members, guests and the public utilizing discretion and professionalism
  • Working closely with the Talent Development Team and Special Initiatives & Operations Team on LHC programming
  • Serving as a liaison between committees and staff
  • Working closely with the communication/marketing team to ensure LHC communication aligns with organizational messages and timing, updating LHC board and members on activities and engagement opportunities, assisting with LHC social media postings
  • Coordinating LHC New Member Coffees (quarterly), small group coffees and monthly LHC membership renewal campaign and tracking the number towards year end goal.
  • Assisting and supporting Membership Director and VP, Member Engagement with the membership renewal campaign and track number towards year end goal while connecting the right members to the right Sponsorship investment opportunities as needed
  • Utilizing database tool to record contact activity with members and enhance membership offerings and service
  • Serving as an ambassador for the Nashville Health Care industry

What You Need To Have:

  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability and drive to clearly understand organizational priorities and quarterly priorities for week/quarter/year
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and quarterly priorities simultaneously while continuing to move daily tasks to completion in a timely manner
  • Ability and drive to understand the operations of the organization in a way that allows you to know who to ask or where to find information when clarity or help is needed
  • Be organized, detail-oriented and punctual, focusing on working ahead
  • Take pride in work and in the organization
  • Gain mastery of Microsoft Office tools, Zoom, Nimble and other relevant technology tools that help the organization operate efficiently as well as proficiency in digital and social media platforms
