Chief Technology Officer - San Francisco

What You Will Be Doing:

  • In collaboration with the extended leadership team, planning the team’s long and short-term development priorities and ensuring they are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Setting metrics to track and develop a set of clinical use cases for the company’s existing and future predictive algorithms and iterating in a collaborative way.
  • Developing sophisticated planning and best practices for the organization and producing compelling workstreams and timely results.
  • With the company leadership, recruiting and developing a high performing data science & engineering team.

What You Need To Have:

  • 10+ years in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Quantitative Analysis.
  • Track record of successful team building and senior-level management of data science experts and engineers.
  • Scientific acumen and track record of significant scientific research contributions, specifically deep technical expertise in data science, machine learning, and clinical development use cases.
  • A humble, team-driven spirit.
  • Ability to be a role model with unquestionable ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to integrate into a mission-driven, no frills, high growth environment and work tirelessly to the support the team.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and resilient determination to drive to the end products in an entrepreneurial, hands-on way.
  • A passion for training/developing staff at a variety of experience levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience commercializing products (vs. strictly academic).
  • Must be in the Bay Area

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with the Regulatory process
  • Experience within a Healthcare IT or SaaS organization
