Elevation Search Solutions is actively seeking a Events and Sponsorship Fulfillment Coordinator for the Nashville market. Our client is a premier association of health care industry leaders working together to inspire global collaboration to improve health care by serving as a catalyst for leadership and innovation.

What will you be doing:

The event coordinator provides logistical support and administrative assistance on the events team, working directly with the director, Events and Sponsorships. This position will also coordinate the logistics of a pre- determined set of organizational events ensuring they are accomplished with superb quality and exceed the standard of industry excellence.

  • Responsible for planning and executing LHC events, Council C-Suite series and Council networking events (i.e. golf tournament and board-hosted holiday reception)
  • Responsible for managing the Council calendar identifying potential dates for events and calendaring all events, including community events for the good of full staff
  • Participate in budgeting process with supervisor for events under responsibility
  • Track and manage budget expenses for areas of responsibility
  • Serve as liaison with sponsoring organizations to fulfill sponsor benefits, maintaining excellent customer service and building relationships with member representatives
  • Support supervisor as needed for Council and Fellows events
  • Responsible for all event set up in Council’s database
  • Provide additional database support including managing registrations as needed, generating name badges, etc.
  • Work in conjunction with supervisor to research, secure and coordinate the work of contracted vendors
  • Responsible for the organization of event supply closet and event staging areas
  • General support as needed and requested by leadership

What you need to have:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in event coordination
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of computer programs
  • Knowledge of event industry terminology and best practices
  •  Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  •  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks through strong organization skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and multiple deadlines
