If so, Elevation Search Solutions wants to speak with you! Our client is a rapidly growing tech company and leader in mobile and digital identity authentication for the connected world. They are building out their healthcare vertical and need a dynamic business development leader with an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

The Director of Healthcare Business Development has the primary responsibility for developing the Healthcare Vertical. The focus on go-to-market strategy and new business requires a self-motivated, disciplined individual capable of identifying and managing the sales process through strategic planning and prospecting activities.

●     Identify healthcare market trends by conducting surveys, one-on-one interviews, focus groups, etc.

●     Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify opportunities for our client’s expansion into the healthcare market

●     Make recommendations for healthcare market penetration based on research findings

●     Create strategic development plans, including active sales pipeline and implementation, to build new, profitable healthcare business

●     Track and report progress with implementation of strategic plan, customer budgets and ongoing forecasts

●     Manage business deals from negotiation to close

●     Routinely meet or exceed aggressive sales quotas
 

What You Need To Have:

●     5 years’ experience in the healthcare practice of a large consulting firm or in healthcare market research and development or emerging market HIT company

●     Verifiable track record of generating revenue at a technology startup with a high touch sales cycle

●     Strong knowledge of methods for setting and measuring achievable sales goals

●     Proficiency in Salesforce CRM

●     Experience with lead development, pipeline management and closing deals

●     Ability to travel 30 to 40%

●     Living or relocatable to NYC

●     Minimum bachelor level college degree
