Summary:

Elevation Search Solutions’ client has an opening for a CTO for a rapidly growing Digital Health Provider. Our client’s mission is to improve patient outcomes by treating behavioral health issues that interfere with medical recovery. They combined large scale analytics, a telehealth clinical platform and digital patient engagement at scale to lower the overall spending of their health plans sponsors.

What we are looking for:

You should be an expert in B2B & B2C Cloud-based applications with a proven track record in the digital health startup world. As CTO you will lead all aspects of technology and architecture in an Agile environment, with an emphasis on both our partner platforms and consumer applications as well as the integration of multiple SAAS-based platform technologies that our client leverages across various functional areas. The CTO will play an integral role in positioning our client as a market leader by driving the strategic technology direction and delivering on our new products roadmap.

What you will be doing:

• Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (whether insourced or outsourced, including web application frameworks and the development stack) for delivering the company’s services.
• Lead strategic planning & resourcing to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all technology applications.
• Participate in establishing the development governance processes and controls to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s technology resources are used adequately
• Proactively collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that efficiently support company organizational needs.
• Establish a governance process that meets government, partner, and company expectations for customer information privacy & overall data security.
• Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security and HIPAA plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data and patient information.
• Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
• Communicate the company’s technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.

What you need to have:

• 7+ years of experience architectural design of large-scale, highly reliable, and highly available Web-based applications. BA/BS degree is required with information systems degree preferred.  Advanced degree(s) / or certification(s) are preferred. 
• Strong understanding of relational database architecture, data model development, data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Prior experience with healthcare data interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
• Experience with quality and regulatory reporting in the healthcare industry including HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Proven experience with mobile app development
• Proven project management skills to manage the build and / or implementation of several key organizational technology capabilities, including Agile methodologies.
