Elevation Search Solutions is actively seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a rapidly growing company in the $5B pharmaceutical and biotech patient recruitment space that recently partnered with a major private equity company. Our client is utilizing state-of-the-art technology that seamlessly connects patients to clinical trials.
Their mission is to change lives by helping new treatments come to market faster by partnering with doctors, pharma companies, and patient advocates on social media. They own and cultivate over 1,000 unique social media groups and pages that are dedicated to helping patients connect with other people who are suffering from the same health condition. What you will be doing:
The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer, will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects our client’s company, and will provide strategic financial input to senior management. While keenly overseeing the overall accounting process, the successful CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health and growth of our client’s business.
- Execute the financial strategy of the company to include readiness for strategic acquisition and high growth
- Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
- Ensure transparency over the financial performance of the company
- Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
- Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
- Look for opportunities and present to potential strategic partners about acquisitions and company sell.
- Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans
- Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred)
- Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CPA)
- 10+ years experience in a senior financial managerial position
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting software
- Exceptional communication skills
- Have worked heavily with a PE backed company and board
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner
- Heavy ecommerce experience & financial models
- Past company acquisition experience
